Kaiser Enrollment Deadlines for Individuals and Families
Individual and Family Kaiser Permanente applications must be completed and submitted by the 23rd of the month in order to apply for coverage to begin on the first of the next month. Many applicants wait until the deadline to submit their enrollment forms. We recommend submitting your Kaiser insurance application forms earlier if possible in order to avoid delays in processing. Once Individual/Family applications are submitted, you will receive notice of your status by mail in 10-12 business days. As long as you apply before the 23rd, upon approval from underwriting, your Kaiser insurance policy will become effective on the 1st of the next month and you will be sent your first bill on the 11th of the month once your coverage is in place.
Kaiser Enrollment Deadlines for Groups
Kaiser Permanente applications for group policies may be submitted up until the end of the month. However, we recommend that you apply at least a week earlier.
